Emotional Payoff!

It's already midnight, in fact early morning and I suddenly wake up from my dream. Don't remember long enough but yeah still got some picture of it. A hap-tic smile was the last thing I remember, for sure I might have done some awesome stuff in my dream.

That was just a dream and it made me happy and content. But when we wake up and follow regular routine and go to office, colleges we often get sullied so easily, and we are not what we naturally are, and that's what make me sad and irritated.

Now we have to seriously admit it what make us happy and content. I would say money can buy happiness,  The one who has money can taste all sweet honey. isn't it?? I know what a snob I sound or may be it's just same old cliche for you. But yeah in business all make you happy a perfect Return on Investment(ROI). So that you can relax and sleep at night.

How long can you withstand that glory, that short term goal. There is old saying " one who dig a hole deeper, longer he stand". So point is not to be carried away by this achievement, not to be complacent. We in industry share our responsibility then why not we share the profit? It's rhetorical question. We do that, so what new?? But what if we nominate the bonus for the one we have some penchant for other. Maybe a chance to grow new relationship and bonding in company. This is called emotional payoff. You really do your best when you make it feel home by not merely an accommodation of fundamental services but by also  linking each other, like family not just merely an acquaintances.

This should not just be restricted to a single managerial level but also to all from Lower to Executive, and anyone can nominate anyone. It will gives immense opportunity to know each other. This can really work well in haphazard Garment industry. In someway operator, supervisor can deserve respect. And now days no one give a damn about anyone. The true work with Juran's Quality can only be achieved if we comprehend the basic. The modular manufacturing system was one of the holistic opportunity to evolve and enhance the goodwill. But majority Garment industry don't follow this, they follow straight line system. It;s a high time when executive level people understand this emotional payoff it's just like initial investment on trusting true human spirit. Taking out the best on them, from them. Garment manufacturing is a team work game, and negligence can seriously hamper the piece. So make it more than a team a family!!! Make them feel home. And ofcourse it will be true "Emotional Playoff".

My first Production!

Hello everyone there! I gathered all my implicit and explicit strength to share my experience in Fashion and Apparel Production industry. Currently I am doing my internship in BL International, Noida sector 59. It has 10 Production line and mostly short production order. The interesting thing about these production unit are that no matter how shorter or larger the order is you can't afford to have impromptu working paradigm. You have to be belligerent and spontaneous, as you have to be ready for the uncalled adversary.

It was mixed week for me. All operator working with enthusiasm, some with utmost regret. Some happy and content and some sad face. I exchanged some conversation with them along with my friend and colleague Akash Yadav( My nemesis indeed!! ha..ha.. Alas! he shall kill me if I say that again).

Then I talked to supervisor and he said that with less order quantity, they don't have to worry about time to accomplish target. They work with seldom and steady pace.

As far as Project management is concerned, we have triple constraint theory.
1) Outputs/Ramifications
2) Costing
3) Scheduling/Time
Once you are crystal clear about this then you can combat any situation.

The normal efficiency for Line 8 was 40-45%, which is not acceptable at all. That what we BF.Tech student study, for us 85% is border line. But it opened my eyes it's not exactly happen what we study. It's totally different out there. As I said the order quantity is less so they don't have to worry much.

BL International have to get some large order in order to stay in the manufacturing business. They get large order in the month of November mostly. They mostly make Ladies garment and Kids wear.
BL has shut down their off-training institute for operators. Maybe they can't afford that much. They have on exclusive line for contract basis. They work in accordance with piece rate policy. Here contractor hire the operator for specified time and style to accomplish the target.

Operator and management relation is not so amicable. This can only be improved when all level of manager meets and does work in holistic manner.
And last thought "Comprehend humanity don't humiliate human being".
